Basics
- What are the advantages of becoming a Cytamobile-Vodafone customer?
Cytamobile -Vodafone gives you the opportunity to connect with the first mobile operator in the country. As a Cytamobile - Vodafone customer in Cyprus, you will benefit from a series of advanced services, which we continuously improve to cover your mobile telecommunication needs in a personal as well as in a professional level.
- What is the SIM Card?
SIM stands for Subscriber Identity Module card - It is the small printed circuit board that must be inserted to your GSM-based mobile phone when becoming a customer. It contains subscriber details, security information and memory for a personal directory of numbers. The card can be a small plug-in type or sized as a credit-card but has the same functionality. The SIM card also stores data that identifies the caller to the network service provider.
A GSM mobile phone is not operational unless a SIM Card is inserted in it. The SIM Card incorporates all details concerning your connection to the soeasy service, including your Personal Identity Number (PIN), telephone number etc. This allows you to use your card with any GSM mobile phone and charge your own account, not the account of the mobile phone's owner.
Cytamobile-Vodafone, will replace free of charge, any defected or damaged SIM Card within three months from its activation date or in case of incompatibility between the voltage of the SIM Card and the voltage of the mobile phone. Three months after its activation date and in all cases of loss of SIM Card, the replacement will be charged according to Cytamobile-Vodafone traffic plan.
- What should I do If I lose my SIM Card?
If you lose your SIM Card, please call the Call Centre on 132, as soon as possible, or visit any of our cytashop with your identity card (if you are a pay monthly customer), or with your Customer Code (if you are a soeasy pay as you go customer) and all outgoing calls will be barred (the service will be disconnected) to protect your account.
You can request:
a. temporary disconnection of your telephone number or
b. a replacement of your card with the same telephone number or
c. cancellation of your telephone number.
NotesNotes:
- You are responsible for any charges that may occur until the time of the temporary disconnection or cancellation of your telephone number.
- You will continue to be charged with the monthly subscription fee during the temporary disconnection of your telephone number.
- During the temporary disconnection period, your card will not be working.
- In case your card is found, you should request reconnection of your telephone number.

- What should I do if I lose my mobile?
If you lose your mobile too, please report the loss and the International Mobile Equipment Identifier (IMEI) to the Police, and receive the relevant verification. This number is given to you with the purchase of your mobile phone.

This is delivered together with your connection. The phone activates only after the PIN is entered after the phone is switched on. The PUK is eight digits and comes with your SIM Card, and should be kept in a safe place
- How many times can I enter the wrong PIN and PUK codes?
The PIN code may be entered incorrectly three times. Then you are asked to enter the PUK code. If you enter the PUK incorrectly eight times, you'll have to ask for a new SIM Card at any cytashop.
